I started my journey into group exercise in 1999 when I began teaching Cardio Kickboxing for WenMat Inc. and then later signed on with 24 Hour Fitness. I enjoyed the community it created so much that I added Spin and Hip Hop Dance to my repertoire. There’s nothing like the positive energy generated by like-minded folks coming together to share, experience and grow together. In 2001 I became a personal trainer and a year after that I moved into fitness full-time, changing my career from EMT with AMR to Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor with 24 Hour Fitness. In the last 20 years I’ve acquired numerous certifications, had the privilege of helping so many change their lives for the better and I feel as if I’m just getting started.

WHY CLIMB?

In a nutshell, it’s the versatility. In all my years in the industry I’ve never come across a machine that has the capability to span across so many training modalities without having to be plugged in.

WHAT THREE THINGS ARE AROUND YOU AT ALL TIMES?

My pocket brain, I think you call it a Smartphone, My aquaphor lip balm, My MacBook Pro.

WHAT MUSIC CAN WE EXPECT TO HEAR IN YOUR CLASS?

Hip Hop, Pop, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Country and any beat or remix I can find that moves me.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MOVE ON THE POWER TOWER?

Total Body Climb is my go to movement. Once again it’s because of its versatility. From this one position I can come up with 5 different moves every time I hop on the Power Tower.
